Job Description: Seafood Packer

We are seeking hardworking and detail-oriented Seafood Packers to join our processing team in Norway. As a seafood packer, you will be responsible for handling, sorting, and packaging various seafood products to ensure they are ready for shipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and freshness of seafood during the packaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort, clean, and package seafood products, ensuring quality standards are met.
Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Weigh and label seafood packages accurately for shipping and distribution.
Inspect seafood products for freshness and quality before packaging.
Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor the packaging process and make adjustments to ensure efficient workflow.
Assist with loading and unloading products as needed.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination of seafood products.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Keep accurate records of packaged products, weights, and shipments.

Requirements:

Prior experience in food packaging or seafood processing is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately.
Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy boxes and seafood products.
Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime if required.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Proficiency in English or Norwegian is a plus.
